Sorry for being a year behind the conversation, but I just found this site. When I was eleven I read this book in a dark, smelly motel. There were weird noises all around my room throughout the night as I read until 4 am. I just couldn't put it down, I enjoyed it immensely. (Is that the right spelling?)
